Is my 3D Mark 2001 score low?
As some of you may know I have just upgraded to a faster CPU, I have overclocked as well, and I guess I was expecting a higher score than what I got:
11355
AMD 2100XP running at 2070Mhz
Soyo KT333 mobo
512MB PC2700
Geforce Ti4200 64mb
Win2K
Det 41.09
4in1 446

12047 if I overclock my videocard to 300/600, but that still seems low

Seems a little low .. but maybe the video card is the bottle neck now ...
I ran a test now on my system and got 10121 points.
My system is like yours (without OCing now
)
XP1900/1GB PC2700/ Ti 4200 (@260/510)/Det. 43.45/WinXP Pro
I think its the video card thats limiting you .. but hey .. you've got about 200 points over my score
, so don't worry coz it seems normal IMO.

On my 2000+ w/ ati 9700 pro I had 10,800 completely stock. It seams like you should be a lot higher..

Its right where it should be vert. Those are virtually Identical to my scores in a XP@2089 128Mb TI4200 system, If I raise my CPU to 2.2 and OC the card to 300/600 I can get close to 13000 if I can get through the test.
This is the one that seems should be 2 or 3000 point higher. On my 2000+ w/ ati 9700 pro I had 10,800 completely stock.

I agree, with that darrelld -- 9700 Pro and the 2000+, I would think anywhere from 11,000 to 13,000..............?

how about approx. 15,000 for my 3000 with the 9700 pro?
All stock but thinking {very little} about over-clocking. but then again benchmarks don't mean much to me except if my latest upgrade is better then the last one.

Vert,
How are you keeping your 2100 Cool? That's one heck of a clock you've got on it.
