    Cyberlink Support Sucks

    yep
not only that, but they are slow

    http://www.gocyberlink.com//english/...ID=CS000127195

also, i did give them my cd key
it was a field on their form, and i even went out of my way to find the little paper its on

"reboot", well, i could have thought of that, and did, and it does nothing in that situation

what the problem actually turned out to be (i had previously thought it was fixed, and had been caused by sound settings), was hardware acceleration, or so i think, this time

because turning it off on the player has stopped the issues.. so i dont know if its a hardware problem or whatever still, but if it works, well, bleh

    just ranting

The really good companies for costumer support seem to have moved on. ELSA was a case of this! Awesome tech support, but they moved across the ocean and don't sell in the US anymore.

There are still a few good ones. EPOX has pretty first rate service. Newegg has amazing service, though usually its just "send it back and we'll give a new one".

    Cyberlink Sucks

Why is cyberlink the item du jour on PCs these days? It sucks big time and I absolutely hate it. Give me a simple program of old and take this crap away

    Angry Cyberlink SUCKS out loud

My Comment On Cyberlink's Facebook Page. Hope they rot.

It's really hard to achieve the title of "Worst Customer Experience and Service on The Internet, considering all the competition vying for that coveted slot, but I cast my vote for CyberDinks, I mean Cyberlink. I've had PowerDirector 10 since April and decided to upgrade it about a week ago. The upgrade doesn't work. The forums don't have any information and after an exhaustive search all over the internet, I cannot resolve the problem. It won't work. There is no tech support phone number or direct email, just a 'ticket system' that is about as efficient as boobs on a bull. When someone does get back to you, they offer you nothing, and most times haven't thoroughly read what your problem was. I would STRONGLY ADVISE NO ONE TO PURCHASE CYBERLINK Products unless you enjoy aggravation, frustration and companies who take your money and then offer you nothing to help you when things go wrong. . I'd rather spend twice the money and get 10 times the service..... NEVER AGAIN! Oh, by the way, you can PURCHASE PREMIUM SERVICE which provides a phone number! Gimme a break! Besides, I 'got your number.'
