| Wow vs Comcast...
I have Comcast now and I still find my UP/DL to slow. 227/951
Plus the pricing is crazy. Im paying 94 bones a month for basic cable and internet service. I talked to Wow and they have internet 300/1.5mb and digital cable for 74.99.
Should I change to Wow? Does anyone have any experiance w/ Wow? |

Comcast came in here after the ATT buyout, and the second thing they did was raise internet access from 45 to 55 dollars.
The first thing they did was bombard us with the usual "We're Great, you're gonna love us" PR crap.

LOL... All I remember about WOW was it was dialup in the days before AOL... that had to have been early 90's. Family had an account with them for a year or so. |

I have no experience with WOW, But make sure that is the normal price, and not only good for a few months. Read the fine print.

WOW sounds like a great deal, $75 for both internet and TV? That's about what I pay for OOL but my rate is supposed to go up $10 this month.
Of course, OOL dl/up is 10/1. |

i just ordered Comcast internet cable, is it a pretty good ISP in the pittsburgh area, i've done the isp comparisons but I'm asking for a personal review from someone that has it.
By the way, what do ou need to upload to so badly that this is bothering you about? Isn't it all just about downloading!! |

I've had Comcast for nearly two years now, and I've had great luck. My downloads are nice and quick, and there's only been one instance where my service was down... my modem died!
I only pay $44.95 a month for basic cable (65 channels) and high-speed internet.

Master Chief: Let us all know how this goes for you. I've been wanting out of the jaws of comcrap for ages, but the only alternative around here has been ATT DSL. It had a worse record than comcrap out here, believe it or not...
Note: Both services top out here at 1.5 dl / 256 ul |
