iMedia PC wont recover itself
Ok i have restarted the pc with the recovery floppy disk, i have entered the Packard Bell recovery console, went to the "reinstall everyting" button.
It does it thing doing a disk error scan, then spits some codes and then comes up with a failure to read c:drive and then i am back in the console with a little dialog box saying "Error 5: glue parts error"
I dont know what this means?!!?? Whats wrong with this thing. Whats a glue parts error?
Any help appreciated. Is there something wrong with my hard drive.

I dont think i can do that
I have my OS on a hidden partition, the trouble is...(i think) is that i cant get to it via the recovery floppy. Why do computer companys have factory settings etc on a partition? I find it really disrupting. I really prefer having everything on cd's. Cause when u stuff things up, u have to pay $100 just to get your factory stuff on cd to load up again, isnt that why we have the partitions...
Ok wondering off subject....So i have a problem trying to boot the OEM OS on the partition. I think i have a file corrupted there.

well if you dont have a cd with your OS then you cant really re-install. you basically need to re-format (which will include repatitioning if you want partitions) and install from cd. if you dont have your OS on cd....wel thats why you shouldn't buy from PB

I had a blood test once. I failed so they kicked me out of the hospital.
