Old Maxtor 10GB HD i found. Want to put the jumper settings for SLAVE.

Only diagram I see says...

Jumper -- Master/Single -- Slave
J50 -- On -- Off

I guess you could just try every jumper setting in the system...if it works...it works.

You could also try checking out Maxtor's site and looking for a manual.

Looks like you want no jumpers to set it as slave.

If the pin layout is the same it might work.Is your drive listed in there?
