| Program.RPT ???
When my computer started up today, I got an error saying:
That a file on C:\ called Program.RPT was found, and could cause other programs not to run, re-nameing this file to Program1.RPT would fix this problem.
I did, and nothing bads happened, but I was just wondering if this was something important, or just some small thing that can happen once in a while? My virus checker didn't pick anything up from it, so I don't think it's infected. |

Hi Pakaraatzi
With what application is this file associated? Right click on the file and look at Properties to see if there is more info on it. |

Seems to be just some unknown file, I don't know how it got there, and thats why I was wondering.
I think I'll send it to the recycle bin, restart, and see what happens. |

Well, nothing seems to miss it, and it didn't come back. Still can't think of where it came from though. |

Don't worry, the Program.rpt file you see is just a crash report generated by an errant application. Some of the game and application developers use it in case you want to submit the crash report.
It is gone for ever when you delete it unless you have another crash. If you are really curious just open it in notepad or word. It will just have details on a program crash. |
