My PC is getting really slow which I don't understand since I have a pretty decent PC. What OS should I use? Sorry, I need Windows since whole family is use to Windows and not linux. One day linux will come but until them. Please guys tell me what OS I should use when I format my PC for a new OS. (Windows ME isn't on due its crap). |

I use the PC for internet and research mostly. The only games I play are like CS, SC, Vice City, and that is about it. |

If you do networking then go with windows xp pro but if no networking go with reg windows xp. The reg windows xp runs a little faster but is horrible for networking. |

Any machine not seriously used for gaming should be packing Windows 2000. It's fast, stable, and the best for work boxes. |
