How do i burn what i think is an iso image?

Hey all,
I recently recieved a file, a game to be more specific, that looks to me to be an .iso file. The original file is in the .zip format, but they when i unzip it to a folder it comes up with multiple files with endings such as .001 and .sfv and also included is an msinfo document. So my question is, how would i put this on a disc to make it work? So would i leave it in the .zip format and "write it" or should i unzip the files and then "write it"? or should i use a program such as nero to "burn the image"?
thanks,
Andy

the nfo file is not a microsoft info file, they just hijacked the .nfo extension to their own ends. you can open it in wordpad or notepad. do you not have a file called install, setup, unpack or similar? try putting an archive program such as winace on your system, this may help you. it sounds like the file you have is a multipart archive all zipped up into one archive, so just unzip it onto your hard disc and look for an install program

Actually the .001...etc files are winrar file(s)
as far as the nfo file just rename the extension to "txt" to read
Good luck

don't need to change extension to txt, just right click on the file and open with will let you choose word or notepad. as for winrar, i think winace is possibly easier to use for a novice, (in case any novices are reading this post) and i like software with a free trial/demo, i can't remember if winrar has one, but i know winace has. down to personal preferences again, iisn't it?
