    Unhappy PC Restarts

    I got Halo for PC. Whenever i press refresh a 2nd time when looking at a list of servers, my computer restarts. this isnt the only trouble i have- for almost a year now my PC automatically restarts whenever i shut it down. I checked the bios, but no options about a power supply anyone know what could be causing this?

    Are you using windows xp?
    If yes. Do you have Roxio Easy CD Creator 5.0 or Direct CD 5.0?
    These may be causing the problem. Contact them for an updated driver.
    Or... do you have the "automatically restart" selected?

    System spontaneous reboots are one of the biggest brain crackers in my opinion. It cn be so many things that can cause this:

    * Bad or overloaded power supply unit.

    * Corrrupted Windows system file

    * Faulty drivers

    * buggy applications

    * Bad RAM

    * Bad hardware

    * overheated video card

    and the list just goes on and on.

    For starters, I would recommend booting in Safe-Mode to see if it could be a bad driver...
