New System: Advice Please

So this is what I'm lookin' at:

--ABIT IS7 mobo (865PE Socket 478)
--Pentium 4 2.8CGHz (what is the C for??) 800MHz
--Picking up a WD 160GB SATA drive to run the OS (keeping my 3 120GB EIDE's for storage, etc.)
--2 Corsair 512MB sticks (I've heard they have a problem on the ABIT IS7s?? Does anyone know if this is working now or if the IS7 still has issues with memory or if a diff. brand will work?)

Anyways, that's it. I haven't built a PC for 2-3 years so I don't know how much has changed so if there's something new I'm walkin' into any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also advice on the combo I've chosen. Thanks!

Looks good, I couldn't tell you about RAM issues with that board though. You may want to consider switching it to an Asus or MSI motherboard, just to be sure.

I just built the same machine but used Crucial mem and a pair of SATA drives. It took me a little while to figure out how to set up the RAID array for the hard drives. Other than that it went together flawlessly I am an AMD guy all the way and this machine really did impress me. I'm sure you will like it

Well, I didn't get the mobo for RAID really, I mainly got it for the extra on-board HD controllers. That and I have been using ABIT RAID mobos for my last 2 (AMD 800Mhz Duron and AMD 1.3Ghz) and both have worked great. Rollin' the dice with Pentium now to see how it works out. I guess I know Crucial works and it seems to be good memory, so maybe I'll go with that.

A = 400FSB
B = 533FSB
C = 800FSB
