| Great free burning software!
I have a Compaq Presario 6000 that has a 32X cd burner made by Cyber drive. Well, I reformatted and got rid of all the Compaq junk and did a fresh install of XP pro. I install Nero which did not come with the computer; I have the full version CD because it came with a burner I have on another machine.
So I go to use Nero to burn a backup CD and it won’t let me because it was not “bundled with the burner”. I was teed off so I went hunting for a free burning program on the net.
To my surprise I found this nifty little program called Burn4free http://www.burn4free.com/
This is an awesome little program; I burned my CD without a hitch. So this is just a little plug for a nice free burning program. |

This is all I could find:
"Note: Burn4Free now includes NavHelper - a noninvasive search tool for internet explorer." |

All bundled Nero soft has one serial per burner make/model, to make the soft work with only the burner it came with. For a few $$$, Ahead will send you a new serial that will open up the soft for "normal" use.

That's nice to know. Thanks for the info. I've always been a big fan of Nero - overall it's the best thing out there. |

Try using Spybot to see if it finds anything. |
