"the language involved"...
One problem with that statement
Which language?
ANY language can be used.
C/C++, VBScript, java etc.
It also depends on how you define "hacking"
If you mean hacking into a network, that is too open ended of a question.
If you mean hacking code in a application that is another very open question.
It also depends on how technical YOU are?
If you're 99% lawyer, and 1% technical.. you need different information vs a professional developer.
I'm guessing you're not a developer though! call me crazy
So we need more information.
What specific part of "hacking" are you researching?
Many times in "hacking" people use pre-written utilities (ala script kiddies)Helicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.

Well all programs boil down to assembly, and there directly to binary.... but starting from the bottom is madness

If you want to find exploits that people have wrote (of which sources will not be found on this forum) most times they're fairly low level so written in C/C++ or maybe if you're "lucky" written in Assembly
Beware C/C++ are not easy languages to learn so they'll take some work on your part.
Its not just plug and play.Helicopters don't fly; they vibrate so much and make so much noise that the earth rejects them.

Is c/c++ language the basics of all or the majority of program writting?

C/C++ is not the basic of all programs, some uses C/C++, some uses Java, some uses Visual Basic....but to learn about hacking, C/C++ is the one to learn, just beaware its also the hardest language to master, so good luck

I would suggest a basic understanding of the UNIX operating system as well (and actually before any programming language). You gotta' know how to navigate and work with files.
