    blocking things??

     
    ok i want to block someone on the network from using Yahoo messanger. but i dont want them to know i want everything to seem like normal except none of there contacts ever got online. is there a way i can do that with out someone knowing?????

    Not exactly what you want but a close alternative. This change will not let Yahoo Messenger connect to the Yahoo IM servers.

    Modify the HOST file on that users machine with the following entries:

    127.0.0.1 cs.yahoo.com
    127.0.0.1 scs.msg.yahoo.com
    127.0.0.1 scsa.msg.yahoo.com
    127.0.0.1 scsb.msg.yahoo.com
    127.0.0.1 scsc.msg.yahoo.com
    127.0.0.1 shttp.msg.yahoo.com
