Not a bad machine for $100. You got a good deal on that
In the beginning there was nothing, then God said "Let there be light", there was still nothing you could just see it better.

Useable, and as such, an OK deal at $100.

For a 500 mhz system that's a good buy.
For what Martoch said about the 133 in the papers I'm not surprised that they sell for $100. I saw in my papers 486s with prices from $75 to $150. Hell, I'll try an ad in the papers for my Cyrix 133 box for $100.
"Nice clean tower with Cyrix 133 cpu, 64 megs memory, cd blaster kit, 2meg video, 56k modem, floppy drive, 1.2gig hard drive."

I think you could upgrade that processor and, along with a new video card, turn that $100 deal into a very decent machine.
Edit: Ok, the specs are here. It's got a 100-MHz FSB, so you could upgrade the processor to 850 MHz, or possibly a higher Celeron (check with Powerleap). You've got three DIMM slots, and can use up to 768 MB RAM (ECC or non).Last edited by osprey4; January 5th, 2004 at 09:06 AM.
