USB adapter for XBOX

ok a friend of mine got a USB adapter for his XBOX so he can hook keyboards and mouse up. he wanted it for unreal championship. heres the thing as far as i know you have to do the modchip thing to get it to work. but im not 100% sure about it could someone clear me up on the whole keyboard and mouse on a XBOX deal. AND....can someone tell me how to get it to work? he wanted me to help him out so im getting as much info as posssible.

Do some research on the net about it. Theres alot of big sites on modding xboxs.

Due to the default xbox security you cant simply use a usb adapter and start uploading an operating system.

You can do it with a mod chip (which has some really cool features), or I believe there are a couple games that have glitches in them during the save processes where u can bypass the security (I believe 007: Agent Under Fire is one of them).

i dont think he wants to mod it cause the mod comprimises the XBOX LIVE stuff i know how to do it ive been watching stuff on The Screensavers. he just wants to use it for unreal championship so. does he have to do the BIOS thing for the keyboard to work? or will it work regularly?
