    First "official" mod-approved contest with a prize!

     
    Ladies and gentlemen. My second "friendly" and the first "official" TIMO graphics contest is here.

    The subject:

    Create a TechIMO logo. Disregard any and all graphics, colors, and styles currently used by TIMO. Imagine you have never seen TIMO before. (I know that will be difficult for some of you)

    What are the rules?
    1. 1 entry per person. (you can display as many logos as you would like but pick a single entry by the contest deadline)
    2. Your entry most be posted here by 5pm cst Friday the 20th. Feel free to show off your logo before then.
    3. I will create a poll ~5pm Friday evening and TIMO members can vote on the logos until 5pm Monday evening. The votes will decide the winner.
    4. The logo can be a maximum of 300x200. It can be smaller but no larger. FYI, the current TIMO logo image is 246x78.
    5. Slogans are optional. Feel free to use or not use one as you see fit.

    What are the prizes?
    This contest will have 2 prizes. (1) for 1st place and (1) for 2nd place.

    1st place - One shirt of your choice from Think Geek (unfortunately, I found out the hard way that TIMO is no longer selling shirts)

    2nd place - Web Hosting. 6 months of web hosting which will include: 200mb of disk space, 5GB of bandwidth per month, and all of the php/cgi/MySQL/Cpanel/etc goodies necessary to run and administer a great site. If you don't have a domain name I can offer you a subdomain at no charge. This is a great way to start your own site without going to a free host with banners and such. (if you already have a web host than this is transferrable to whomever you choose)

    If you have any questions, just ask.

    If you need a place to host your images click here.

    As will always be the case, no entry in any of my contests will ever be intended for commercial use. This is for fun only.

    You might be suprised. Sometimes the simplest of logos looks the best.
