Creating symbols in WORD

Does anyone know if its possible to create your own symbols in word?

I want to create a copyright symbol but have two initials inside the circle instead. I then want to be able to insert it into documents.

Can this be done?

Word has a drawing pallette that would allow you to do something simple like that
View --> toolbars --> drawing
Just use the circle tool and then add in the initials via a text box or word art.
Then select both the circle and the text, right click, grouping --> group

This will make "lock" the items together so its easy to move around and/or insert into another document

Quite frankly though its prolly easier to just make a drawing in MSPaint or an actual image editing program and then save it as an image which u can import into word documents

You can make your own fonts and use them in word.

That's right. From the way you describe how you want to use it, it seems to me you would want to create your own font or your own character to insert into one of your font sets. Since True Type Fonts (and Post Script Fonts) are vector objects this method would yield the best result.

I was wondering if theres a link that stores all sorts of font types. Are there any? I'm looking forward to it.
