Logo needed please

Hey guys, unfortunately I don't know how to work with any graphic design program, and my company asked me to prepare one. I have downloaded the Freehand and it turned out to be hard to work with it,but the fact that it is impossible fr me. Therefore I would like to ask you to help me to prepare a logo. My company name is "PatenTeam". I will be very very very grateful if anyone helps me. Thank you very much.

Hey thank you very very much, that's really great but I think the logo should be a bit more serious because it's intended for serious company.
Colors...I have no experience but I think white-blue will be grate. Maybe even
like in the upper left corner of the "http://e-srael.org".

Recently I have joined an enterprise company (which is new too) - I am a young entrepreneur(16). Now, in order to succeed I have to gather "points" - for any job you do or any mission you get - you get points. The more points you collect, the less percents grow up to be kicked out (those people who have the smallest num of points get kicked).
Now, I went abroad with my parents for 4 days and it caused the others to catch an advantage over me, so I have to complete the points that should have been gathered while I was abroad. Now I returned and the only my chance to complete the points is to prepare this assignment. I took this assignment because if I didn't I would been kicked. That moment I didn't even think about my abilities to complete it.
As turned out my abilities are very small, therefore I ask you to help me. I am actually new in your forum and I don't know if it's allowed - I have just seen some posts like this and decided to post too.
I will extremely appreciate if anyone helps me...You know why now.
Concerning money: I don't think I can afford spending money for this. If I could believe me I would do so.

First of all thank you very much for your help.
Oh...I am sorry...I think I have said that the company is enetprenuers company - obviously I intended that it's connected to business (kind of business).

It's very important to note that PatenTeam has to be one word because it has a meaning. (Patant+team)
And I think in order to highligh the meaning it's better to compose it only of 2 capital letters: PatenTeam.

It's supposed to be a serious message\picture\any sentence included because it's a business company.

Colors: I think blue + white integrated will be nice, like in the upper left corner of the "http://e-srael.org".
However I am sure you understand much more than me.

I also would like to ask you for any nice fonts or link to fonts that obviously aren't default so that I will be able to work with this program by myself.

Pyro has got a very valid point.

You are working for a company that exist to make money. You are working for them to make money. You are asking us to do a part of your job for no money. That is quite simply BS. Can you not see that? Does that not bother you? Even being a kid it would bother me. Maybe I'm strange.

That was a mistake on your part wasn't it? Mistakes are costly. Monetarily and otherwise. Wouldn't you agree? And wouldn't you expect to have to pay for this mistake in one fashion or another?

Listen, no one is asking for a fortune here. No one is even demanding a fair and legitimate price. But just offering something, anything on your part would go a long ways towards showing some good faith. You claim to be an entrepreneur. If that's true then these concepts I'm talking about are concepts you need to understand and work with because in the long run they will benefit you.

I also don't want to be rude... but if you're already borderline and this project was the only thing to save you from getting canned... perhaps you need to start thinking about a job/career change.
Perhpas take some time off, get things in order, learn some new things, and jump back into the pit later.

On the contrary as long as the job gets done you should be fine (subcontracted out for money).
Do these "points" have to reflect personal work, or just what you get done?

Anything that is done for the company's sake is taken into account.
I understand you guys and of course I wouldn't ask you if I knew to use the program. I have just downloaded it now and I tried ...but I don't know to use it what's the point... And the problem is that I have got no time for learing how to use it - it's for sunday I think. So if you don't want to help me I understand, though if someone, like the two guys that have already tried, have a bit of time for me I will infinitely grateful.
