Starting a new web site and signed up with Godaddy.com... help please

Hi. I am starting to build a new website. I am very technical but have never built one before. After a few glasses of wine ( ha ha), I went to Godaddy.com and (not too sure what I did) but I think I registered a website with them (www.pacandgo.com).

They had a bunch of options so I added on this, drank a glass of wine, added on that (and another glass) and wound up with this below:

QTY ITEM PRICE 1 .COM Domain Name Registration - 1 Year $4.24 PACANDGO.COM 1 Private Registration Services $7.95
    PACANDGO.COM 1 Economy Email (25 MB/1 Box) $9.95
1 Deluxe Hosting with ASP $9.95 1 Online File Folder Deluxe $9.95
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subtotal: $42.04 Shipping & Handling: $0.00 Tax: $0.00 Total: $42.04 Legal Agreements you agreed to with this purchase:
    Domain Registration Agreement: here
    Domain Name Proxy Agreement: here
    Hosting Service Agreement: here
    Online File Folder EULA: here
    Webmail EULA: here

Now, in the morning of sobrierty, I am not sure 1), what I got (ie., what does all that mean), and what should I have gotton, 2) how do I proceed (good tools tutorials etc) and build the site, and 3) what can I use (I do have Word 2000 and Word 2002 which I am reading how to build them)

I THINK that godaddy just grabs the site, but I think it has to reside (Hosted?) somewhere else (if not on my own system?). On the godaddy.com site, they have stuff like Websitetonight that I think hosts sites for a price.

All the other offers Godaddy has confuse the average newbie website builder. I do not plan to sell product (just services that people will sign up for (in my community)).

So before I embark on anothe evening of wine, can some one (seriously) tell me what I got, and what I should have gotton. What do I do now (if you go to www.pacandgo.com it says "coming"), but how do I make it real on the web etc.

Thanks a lot folks. I really am looking for some advise (as I have received from this site before). See ya,

Bob..... now where did I put that wine bottle opener/

ain't it great? drunken surfing with a cc
Domain Name Registration = you have your pacandgo name registered.
Economy Email = i believe you have an @pacandgo.com email address available.
Deluxe Hosting with ASP = they are hosting your pages on their server, you just need to design and upload your site.
asp is active server pages. this is probably overkill for you, until you have a little site design experience.
although you can probably buy a premade site or template you can fill in with your own stuff, once you find that bottle opener and your cc

See what the demon alcohol will do to you?

    Goddaddy can be:

    1) your registrar;
    2) your hosting provider; or,
    3) both.

WHOIS tells me you have a private domain registration at Godaddy, via their fee-based Domains by Proxy (You paid extra for this privacy service).
    http://samspade.org/t/lookat?a=pacandgo.com

For info on Godaddy registrations/sites, you need to run WHOIS at Godaddy.
Check your email for registration/webhosting confirmation details from them.
Log into your account to see exactly what you bought.

If you have questions about your account, call or email their support team.

1 Deluxe Hosting with ASP $9.95

Looks like you already paid for the first month of hosting right here, so expect 9.95 a month plus 1 Economy Email (25 MB/1 Box) $9.95 a month also. I don't know if this 1 Online File Folder Deluxe $9.95 is a monthly thing or a one time charge. Yeah e-mail godaddy tech support and see what you signed up for, BTW I'd leave out the wine story. Also what kinda wine was it, musta been good.
    BSOD.........
The reason why I'll be drunk tonight.
    Are you a winner?

the email charge seems to be yearly. i think you made a booboo on that one, as it appears you get 500 10MB email accounts with a deluxe hosting?
the online file folder is 1000MB of online file storage, charged yearly.
