Dreamweaver Tutorial Help
Just installed Dreamweaver MX 2004 and the program is obviously ( for me at least ) way over my head.

I have decent knowledge of HTML but as we all know this program is way past that.
Anyone have any tutorial linkage so that a 'noob' like me can learn some of the basics as well as some of the ins and outs of the program?
I know i can Google for it but I'm hoping someone can 'hook a brother up' - so to speak to a tried and true site.
Thanks,

Personally, I only use Dreamweaver in the code view mode so I don't really know all it's little fancy WYSIWYG editor features.
Anyway, one of the sites I've referred people to for the basics of Dreamweaver was here. It's not at all advanced but will get you started with the basics."Be quiet, Brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip"

DreamWeaver IS SO nice, way better than frontpage.
Note the hardest thing in my opion is CSS Stlyes, And I dont use them.
It is a nice program. The way I learned was not in class because the teacher did not know it either, but I just browsed around.MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum / A64X2 4800+ Toledo(Stock)

Thank you very much!!
After 'toying' with it for about an hour I had a headache and felt relatively stupid.

Spend some time with them. Once you get the hang of them, they get really easy and the true power of web design comes from using CSS. HTML Goodies has a decent section to get started learning CSS. And Dreaweaver has built in documentation on almost all of the available parameters and attributes.Note the hardest thing in my opion is CSS Stlyes, And I dont use them.
Haha, yeah, the Macromedia site actually does have pretty good documentation and tutorials for Dreamweaver.start with "Help" then "how to" then go to www.macromedia.com for more referrence"Be quiet, Brain, or I'll stab you with a Q-tip"

I prefer not to be stopped in the street just because someone decided my clothes were "wrong" or my hair was "too long". I do understand and partly agree with your point, but this was too much, IMO.
