    Rate these Backgrounds, please.

     
    I made these a while ago, but I'd like some cirtique, if that's cool.

    They're White Stripes backgrounds for the desktop (Only 1024x768, but the one w/ stripes on the left looks cool if the background is centered on a higher res and the bgcolor of windows is black).

    I don't do all that much graphical stuff anymore, but I used to do it regularly.

    Both look really good. I personally prefer the non-striped one out of preference.

    another non-stripped vote. maybe if the stripes where white and the background were black. just a thought. looks good though. get behind me statan.

    Non-striped. The high contrast between the black stripes and white background distracts from the cool design you have.

    yep i like the all white one but it may it depend on what you are going to be putting on the background image??

    That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe a transparent gray color would help. The contrast between the black and white is just too much right now.

    I actually made the black stripes because, on my desktop, my icons were being overlapped underneath by white and black beside each other, and so I made the black stripes so that I could read the icon's names better, and keep the image slightly consistent.

    Glad that you guys liked them though, the non-striped one looks really nice in good 'ole plain 1024x768.
