Check out www.tucows.com or any other download place to get a gif animator software (shareware or trialware). I used that Ulead Gif animator to do my avatar. It's a series of gif images that are animated by flashing it up for a timed interval just like cartoon magic. I had the initial gif image and then moved the pixels in the eyes in a second gif to make them roll around... | |

Look up Ulead GIF animator. I'm pretty sure it costs some money (maybe not though) but its a great tool for doing that stuff.

Ohhh, an animated GIF. Yeah, you would need to use an animated GIF editor and make out each and every frame of the movements in the animation...  | |

There's also Microsoft GIF animator which comes with Microsoft Image Composer which comes with Microsoft Frontpage. | |

It's just like making a flip book. You make a bunch of gifs then put them in the order you want them to loop in a gif animater.
