Could somebody help me create a graphic?

Hiya,

im really new to paint shop pro and don't even know the basic's yet, but i wanted a new title graphic for my website which can be found here. "Sonic Adventure 21st century" title at the top is what i want changed becuase it looks too bland.

I just wanted to know if anybody could help me create a graphic or create a graphic yourself that you think would go nicely there.

I think that would be illegal using an image of Sonic and Knuckles which is Sega's game characters... Wouldn't it?

that's tails dude, it probably would be illegal because big companies are sensative about their name on things they don't own.

That was a very unprofessional way to put it, Chocoo... Let's say that you designed an image and people were using YOUR design on their site, would you like that?

as long as they say that i made it wouldn't care at all

even if you mention that Sega made the picture they will still say oh take it down and lawsuit blah blah. that is including that your site doesn't promote anything illegal or badmouth anybody.

would you care that i used one of your pictures if it says that you made it? (that being your real name and not 'by NDC')

Legality is legality... And yes, I would care if you didn't ask me first before you used it... Our opinions and legality are two completely different things...

lets say the website is called NDC is cool and it has one of your pictures. we know it's NDC's picture because it says he made it and we know the site is made by an enthusiatic fan of NDC because it is called NDC is cool, would you still get up tight?

usualy companies will not get pissed off if the use of the picture is for support on a clean site (no hatred or porn or whatever)

so i can't use those pictures? hhmm any idea's without the pictures is the background, that was just a test btw. Any fancy fonts for the title would be good doesn't have to have pictures.

you can't use the picture at all without consent but they probably won't do anything if you just use it.

just don't use it.

As far as graphics go.. I don't care if ppl use the stuff I make.. be nice to know they are using it.. so I can see it in action.. But I have done every last bit of my work for free.. one of the last ones I did was for Starlancer HQ. I did that one years ago.. and I still beliee in doing free work.. that's just me.. I think art should be shared.

When I get better at making modles in max.. and other 3d programs those will be made free to al to use as well..

I'll have to rework a few ideas Linkin' but I'll see what I can come up with..


edit: I noticed one thing Linkin' you don't have a Home button to take you back to your index page =)

Do you still have the Sonic and Tails graphics that you used for that one? If so I could make you a really sweet banner. It is just that text is too much of a problem to get rid of.
