photo software

I am not very knowledgeable about doing what i want with my photos. For instance after i download pics to my computer i would like some simple program where i could group family, house,flowers hothouse etc. I get to some of the programs and i can't seem to do this without a lot of trouble. I would like to click pic of famly and put into an album of that name. Help

if you're just grouping your pictures and sorting htem out you don't need any kind of software...just make folders for your groups and stick the photos you want in the corressponding folder...<.<...
