Need Help with Pictures in Microsoft Word

ok this is the question or questions i have.

someone sent me some pic's for me to try and put on a website but they sent them in Microsoft Word.
i didnt even know Word can handle pictures.

How do i go about saving each particular picture in a gif or jpeg format which i can then add to a website.

I use Microsoft Frontpage to edit, make and update websites since its so easy to use.

i was able to save the whole file as a webpage but i can't seem to save each particular pic.

I hope this is in the correct forum section since it has both graphics and website related issues i was not sure.

You can highlight the photo in the Word document and copy it, then go to an image viewer (like Irfanview) and paste it. Then you can save it as a .jpg or whatever you want.
