I have a photography I want to use on a flyer. Its only come to my attention when I printed it off that the photo had a light background (for some reasons my screen didn't pick this up). The background which I am referring to is actually the floor which everything is sitting on.
In PS, is there any method that I could use to get that floor transparent, or completely white, as this will be the background of the my flyer? I dont want it to suddenly 'end' as you can see on the right hand side of the image.
Im using the following picture http://www.istockphoto.com/file_clos...php?id=3840086

Eventhough I do have photoshop, I rarely open it to use it. My preferance is Paint Shop Pro. I do know in PSP one would have to "tube" that picture to have the background transparent. In viewing your picture, it looks like the right side is missing a bit...so you would also have to clone a bit of that flower to make the "tube" complete. In making tubes in PSP i use the lasso to cut around the picture. |

Or pick up a 30 day demo of the new Corel Paint Shop software and use the back ground eraser tool, I've played around with it a bit the last few days and it works great making a transparent background. |
