I use AniMagic Gif to break apart the gif and then resized them one at a time with photoshop and then merged them back together with the animagic gif program. Yes, I do realize that I did it the hard way but I had no idea how to do it any other way...

Almost any graphics program that supports making animation will do it. For example in Photoshop / Image Ready just open it in Image ready / Image / Image Size. select your quality settings and you're as good as done.
Paintshop Pro has a similar method. There are a couple of online gif and animation sites too but I don't know if they support resizing an existing gif.
Don'forget that if you are enlarging a gif you will take an image quality hit.

Talk about a glutton for punishment If you have photoshop 5 or up you already have Image Ready. Makes life a lot simpler.

I use www.gifworks.com with a lot of success... Nothing to buy and easy to use.

I give thumbs up to gifworks too, its very functional and easy to use and best of all its free.
Often I will create a gif in another package (Gif construction kit is what I have been using) and optimize it in gifworks |
