    Digital Big Screen Projector Question

To give you an idea the size of the projector without actually knowing the actual dimessions its a HUGE wall mount projection screen in church. Them big things they use for vidoes, pictures and powerpoint presentation for sermons.

Okay here is the question. i was talking to one of the ladies and they are having trouble with a picture. Primarly using photoshop (don't ask) anyways.

She is saying that in order for photo's to show up on the big screen that the camera must be able to take pictures of a minumum of 10 mega pixel.

I am wondering of the accuracy of this statement, because she is saying that this screen will blur out if any photos or images are under 10 mega pixels.

Reason I am questioning this is because these screens are directly wired to the computers.

So what is the scoop? Does it actually need to be 10 or will a 7.1 megapixel blur out and loose pixels on a big screen like this????????

    Thanks!

Well, the bigger the screen, the higher resolution you will need to have a quality picture. If you look at a picture taken at 1 megapixel on a small 12" monitor, it will look good, look at it on a larger monitor and the quality would seem to diminish even though it is the same quality, the larger screen though will just make it easier to notice. So to answer, the question: yes. There will be a noticeable difference. On a screen that large though...I am not sure how big of a difference you will get from 7 megapixels to 10, but I would imagine it would be a big difference.

okay, so the bigger the screen the higher resolution and megapixels you need.

Does that sum up what you are saying?
