manual pictures so yellow.
ok so i have this camera
http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...uctId=20005011
just started learing bout manual camera functions and stuff. my problem is that no matter what i do my pictures turn out so yellow. even in white light they still turn out yellowish. how do i like, fix it? in the auto function the pictures are more normal coloured (though its so plain and i would prefer it to be yellow anyday). ill let the pictures do the talking. these were took with F2.7 and 20 on the shutter speed (can anyone explain that to me? how many seconds does that actually mean. how long an exposure is "1 and "2 and so on?)
this bag of mine is supposed to be brown and light grey, instead its brownish-yellow

this curtain was green..

the bed below the guitar was greyish

just a quick guess what do you have your white balance set on? With those settings and "cloudy" I get the same thing on my camera.
edit: to answer the other question, without great detail as I'm no expert.
Aperture Range is what the setting is called
f2.7 is the aperture size, the aperture size will regulate the film's degree of exposure to light or in this case the amount of light let in to the digital sensors.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aperture
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-number
as for the 20 that would be your shutter speed or Exposure Time this represent how long the light will be allowed to hit the digital sensor in order to capture the image. If you actually had that set to 20
I think it was probably 1/20

Sometimes if the flash is in auto yet does not flash this can happen, Make sure that flash is off. then turn it on and try again. (This happens to me when I mistakenly leave flash in auto position).

nah i never take pictures with the flash if i can. i hate the colours that result from it. and the lighting always looks so fake and stiff
