    JPG to dvd

I would like to send a bunch of digital photos to relatives on dvd's so they can play them on their dvd players. I have Nero 6 ultra, if that helps and an NEC dvd burner.
Does anyone have a suggestion I could use ?

Use NeroVision Express, its got a Slideshow option that you can make to burn to DVD, Video CD, MiniDVD etc...

I just tried it, with out burning to disk, works fine, even added a background audio track to play while it cycles slides/pictures.

Ah, ok, I got NeroVision Express 3 on mine.

Will it let you do Video CD's or Super Video CD's?

Also you should be able to do a simple slide show in Windows Movie Maker, by importing the images, & dragging them to the storyline, & save it as a WMV file or what ever... trying it right now, to see what the video quality will be, added in some background music, but saving it as High Quality (large) settings... see what that does.

but the Video CD/Super Video CD in nero should work too... but haven't tried that so not sure.

Since I don't really use any other programs right now, other than Premiere Pro to edit some vids, have no clue what other apps might work?

WOW, it actually looked pretty good, though it saved it at 640x480... most of my images are 1280x1024 or larger, so the downsized images didn't loose much in quality...

File size comes in at just under 4.5MB for about 2:48 of length...

Another tip. Most DVD players play CDs.

Picasa can do photo CDs playable on most DVD players.

Thanks guys I managed to make a Super Video CD that works. Doddsy I needed to make a disc that all my (and wifey's) families could watch as a lot of the older folks don't have a comp but everybody has a dvd player and even the old blind ones can see the boob tube
