looking for help in creating the look of water

    Hello all you gurus,

I have been working with images for many years, using Paint Shop Pro Photo ver. 12 now but started with version 3. (note versions 10 and 11 about lost me, they were bad )I have four web sites www.cvrennaker.com www.districtone.net www.smvcc.net and I maintaine www.fhsa.org

Many timees I have wanted to create the look of a lake or stream, does not need to be a moving lake or stream which probably would need to be a gif, just a section that looks like lake or stream. I have searched for how too's on the web and so far have not found a tutorial on this. Does anyone in this group have the answer?

if u had photoshop, it would have been much more easier. They are tons of tutorials on using the chrome tool and other tool that are required to get that water ripple and other water qualities look
