Graphics Tablet with Dual Monitors

I had a similar problem and hence came looking at this thread. Solved easily by looking into Control Panel ( I'm on Vista ) and then Wacom Tablet Properties. Third tab - Mapping, is where I found everything I needed. Just map the tablet to whatever monitor you prefer from there under 'Screen Area'.

i have a Wacom Intuos PTZ-630 and i can't get it to stay on one monitor even after i switch the mapping. It will work scrolling around on my desktop but the moment i move around in any program (photoshop, Zbrush etc.) it immediately switches back to both screens. Does anybody have any ideas?

Dear Forums.

I do as well have the same problem with the Aiptek Slim Tablet. I have a dual screen setup and the tablet width effectively spans across both screens. I have to draw on one half of the board to stay on one screen.


I am aware that other manufacturers' software offer a solution to this, though the one of Aiptek doesn't. It would actually be worth a try finding out what other drivers (particularly the cheap makes) work with this tablet.


Anyway, anybody know a workaround/solution to this problem?

I found a solution, it's rather simple. Unzip the driver package, find the line AdjustPage = 0 and replace it with AdjustPage = 1. Then install the driver. Et voila, there is a third tab in the control panel where you can adjust the area the tablet gets mapped to. Don't ask me why the default value is 0.

Tested with MacrokeyManagerGeneric _V343_X64.zip and Aiptek MediaTablet U14000, should work with any other Aiptek/Trust tablet.
