| full screen comparison in Photoshop
I'm trying to see if there is a way in Photoshop (CS3) to compare two open photos side by side, not with all the toolbars present either, like fullscreen mode. I know you can hit the shortcut key "F" on your keyboard to switch to different views, but that only affects the active image. I have a before and after and want to display them side by side for comparison purposes w/o creating a new canvas and copying and pasting them both on one canvas.. (I know that's a decent workaround, but I wanted to see if Photoshop is designed to do that natively)
Does anyone know?

Not sure if you mean like the old Windows method of showing 2 open windows side by side, each taking up 50% of the screen... (sort of like split screen multiplayer console games?)
if so, I know in CS2 you can open both images, then go to the "Window" Drop down menu, go to "Arrange", then select "Tile Vertically" & should show both images in seperate project/canvas windows side by side for comparisons...
not sure if thats what your talking about, but sounds like it?
depending on the size of the images, should also be able to work on one while the other is still visible too... |

yep.. I'll give that a shot... I used the zoom tool and did fit to screen for both (vertical) images and its decent, but it still has the start menu and all of the program junk around the sides |
