Need a Logo for my website.

Ok Im in search of a logo that will "define" my website. The site can be found at MobileCellOut - Mobile Phone Contract Exchange so it needs to match the color scheme. I want it simple (something that could be easily changed later with a new scheme. I would like it to be notably different so I would like it to not resemble any current companies logo as to not be confused with that company. I don't have a ton of money (everything for this site is out of pocket) but Im willing to pay for the logo. With this said I would like to know what the usual rates for a quick logo may be as to negotiate a cost for someones work. One way to design a logo (granted Im no designer) would be to think "would this look nice on a T-Shirt?". Ive noticed from all the company branded shirts I have some just don't work and I don't wear them. Anyways don't take my description as being really picky. Im not really a picky person but I am looking for a "Yes that could be my logo for sure" kind of thought. The arrow that is there now is actually part of the template so its technically fair game for any takers (at the template designers discretion). I want something that belongs to this site only.
