DPI changing after editing in MGI PhotoSuite 4

I'm doing photo restoration in MGI Photosuite. The original file was downloaded to me as 1800x1500 with 300dpi resolution. After editing the file, I save it and although the file size remains the original 1800x1500, the resolution changes to 96dpi. I need to have the file stay in 300dpi resolution. How do I prevent MGI PhotoSuite from changing the dpi?

I'm not sure you can set the Dpi in PS 4... I've been using it for years, but when I need more precise control over Dpi and size, I use Irfanview...

Thanks for the input on PS4. I thought I had checked everywhere in that program. Now that I have someone else saying that option isn't available, I can stop looking!!! I did find PhotoElf and downloaded a copy of that and it worked great. I'm able to do the editing in the MGI software and then do a save as in PhotoElf and change the DPI to 300 there. When I look at the print, so far my edits seem to to be translating from PS4 to PhotoElf OK. Thanks again.
