img to jpeg converter

hello friends.

i need a converter to convert a .img file to .jpeg or .jpg or .bmp whichever possible format. i tried with 'Image ConverterPlus'. but it doesnt work.

please guide.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but have you tried Paint...? (or maybe even Paint.Net for that matter - although I haven't used the latter myself, I know it is highly rated by others)

this looks an awful lot like spam but I'll throw out a few ideas.

1) are you sure you are looking at a picture or graphics file, as I haven't seen .img used for that in ages. Typically .img is associated with CD or DVD images

2) if you are certain its a graphics file and Nude's suggestion don't work try Infranview or Gimp

actually i am developing a software for a cooperatiove financial organization. they have a .img file which they use in the current software and that file has the signatures of all the members of the organization. that is why i want to convert it.

or else, please guide me how i can extract those signatures.

please guide.

Have you tried what I mentioned earlier..?

Have you had a look at the link in JJ's post...?

Have you given Richeem's suggestion/s a try...?

If you want to "extract" the signatures and have Fista or Windows 7 then you can use the Snipping tool to, errr, snip little sections out - which you could then manipulate in Paint/whatever......
