blender help
Hey guys. I'm taking a class in opengl and I've been trying to build a few models in blender and I'm having a horrible go of it. I could desperately use some help. Specifically I've been trying to make a snowman and an igloo. I don't really care if I stick with blender, I just need to figure out how to make them in something that will export coords, normals, and colors to a .ply file.
If anyone here is familiar w/ blender and willing to help, my aim screenname is the same as my name here (I figure that's easier than trying to do it through here).

/edit - ended up getting a few good models. Trying to figure out how to get a terrain from l3dt to a ply format if anyone might be able to help any. I can build a heightmap that I've been able to import into blender, but I can't texture it. Thanks to anyone who can help!Last edited by sr71000; November 20th, 2009 at 03:27 AM.

Hey guys. I am able now to get the texture into blender and get it on the 3d model. When I export to ply though, the color's don't show up. Everything is still grey. I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there really nobody who can help?
