Any amateur Digital Microscope Users ?
I've used the el-cheapo Intel Play QX-3 and found it very interesting.
My major complaint was lack of "depth of field" and only 3 settings, 10x 60x & 200x
I'd like to step up a little bit on quality but don't want to spend a load, less than $200 or so..
I'm weary of looking at dead ends, CMOS sensors instead of a CCD and others that only state the Maximum magnification with no further info.
One note of interest to some, at 60x a Dirt-Dauber's nest shows human forms, houses etc.
One showed a Large Asian Man with a fu-man-chu mustache with his arms behind his back against a rock wall apparently tied.
A twist of the focus ring [like I said, shallow depth of field] shows a Roman Guard complete with helmet.
Another example showed a hillside with a house, canted roof, chimney and a Cheshire cat sitting atop it.
A focus adj, shows a man behind a podium seemingly selling wares !
I gather the wasp swallows the mud, it mixes with stomach enzymes or acids and causes these objects to appear.
Lots of practice showed no other oddities like this from any object at any power.
So, if there are any users of amateur microscopes ,, shoot me a link, I looked at Amazon.com till I wore out my mouse.
Thanks

Bump for help.
Lots of Digital Microscopes have only 1/3 mp resolution
or use a CMOS sensor instead of a CCD
I have used my smaller digital cameras on a pair of Binoculars with decent results though not as good as my Panasonic 12x with the Leica
Perhaps a do-dad to connect a small digital to a low priced microscope.
I've seen many advertised but no user reviews as of yet.
Thx

It's probably highly rated because of the level of violence. The story is decent.
