Editing Flash Template Text

I have the file that I bought from a template company - I'm relatively new to flash, and am learning, but I can't seem to edit the text - I can see how to change photo's and can not find the text for the life of me.

When i open the .fla file it only seems to show the intro and I cannot find the text anywhere. The .fla file only shows the intro. I'm lost

You don't edit the .fla file unless you want to edit the actual movie. There should be a secondary file, likely xml or html that contains the actual text.

Ah, ok that makes sense. I cant seem to find a file that has text in it though...

You just need to find the right file. What else came with the template besides the .fla and some images?

You say you have an into are you certain that intro isn't all there is?

Do you have it hosted somewhere? or a link for where you got it from?

similar issue - EXTREME-novice at this stuff - I located the XML file in and XML folder that was part of the template download. however, after I made my changes to the XML file, I have no idea how to get it back into FLASH so that I can edit the graphics and layout with my updated content. What's the secret?
