Time Lapse in Media Impressions (Pentax WG-1 GPS)

I have a Pentax WG-1 GPS and it comes with Media Impressions 2.1 for PENTAX. I've heard that you can make time lapse videos with photos taken from the camera (I'm assuming, perhaps incorrectly, that this isn't the same as the "movie" feature on the camera but utilizes the continuous photo modes). I'd like to know how to actually put together a movie with the photos I've taken in this manner.

I've installed the Media Impressions 2.1 that came with the camera.

I'm not entirely sure I know how to use the software. When I plugged in the camera and opened the program I have lots of options to import then edit, etc. But how do I actually get to the section where I can make a time lapse video?

Am I wrong about it being simply pictures stitched together in the program? Is it an actual setting on the camera?

Any help you can provide would be great!

Oh wait I did find the movie making option and putting all my continuous shot photos in there but I'm still not seeing how to stitch them together fast. It seems like the lowest duration is 2 sec? So confused. Is that the only time lapse I can do? Seems stupid.

I'm a still photo guy and I usually use a DSLR alpha but I got this new thing and want to explore time lapse but don't know how on this software.

I'm not familiar with the program but I did a quick look around and found a forum on Arcsoft website that deals with this program. Maybe the folks over there can be of some help since they are all end users of the software.

Just noticed the date of this thread. A little late...lol
