    Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta

Adobe has released the latest Beta version of photoshop for free testing. I personally haven't installed it yet but I'm thinking about doing so tonight

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Beta | digital image editing software - Adobe Labs

    Photoshop CS6 Beta Highlights
    • Content Aware Patch - Patch images with greater control using the newest member of the Content-Aware family of technologies. Choose the sample area you want to use to create your patch, and then watch Content-Aware Patch magically blend pixels for a stunning result.
    • Blazingly fast performance and a modern UI - Experience unprecedented performance with the Mercury Graphics Engine, which gives you near-instant results when you edit with key tools such as Liquify, Puppet Warp, and Crop. Plus, a refined, fresh, and elegant Photoshop interface features dark background options that make your images pop.
    • New and re-engineered design tools - Create superior designs fast. Get consistent formatting with type styles, create and apply custom strokes and dashed lines to shapes, quickly search layers, and much more.

Yeesh. My last job had CS3 and just moved to 4 before I quit. Now I'm 2 generations behind? Lame!
    Good job, friend-of-friends!

Yeah I'm 3 or 4 generations back. CS5 had some cool features and I liked it when I tried it out but damn I can't justify the cost of upgrading. I just don't use it that much now days.

Maybe I missed it but, "Hey Adobe, why be secretive about how long the beta demo lasts?"

It's running very well on 2009 Mac Pro. It seems better optimized especially using my GTX285 for gpu acceleration and It offers nice speed improvements.
