Not in Photoshop, in ImageReady...it installs with Photoshop and you can jump between the two with one click. |

There is so many Animation, good programs, depend what do you want to do? Some are easy to operate, some are not easy. For begining I recomend "Babarosa gif animator"

What kind of animation are u planning on trying or doing?
For 2D animation u can try Flash 5 or Flash MX / or u can try doing GIF stuff with Adobe Image Ready.photoshop. Paint Shop Pro also has the Animation Shop which works well and does not cost a whole lot.
Then there is 3D animation which takes a whole lot more money and time to learn, u have choices like 3D Max, which i uses a little bit, then there is maya, bryce, and lightwave.. many many more.
