| How can i make things look silver and gold?
It just looks grey and yellow! But i see other buts and pieces on sites where theyve made it look like its metal... how is this done?
Anyone stumbled across any tutorials or anything on how to do this?

If you are talking about graphics you could use Photoshop and download some styles from Adobe. Register up and look around for shapes, styles, actions and you will find all sorts of stuff to enhance the power of Photoshop.
If you don't have Photoshop, try http://flamingtext.com . Lots of stuff to enhance text and create graphics.
Cheers!

Yep, Yep... i do everything on photoshop...
i found something that looks awesome, although it also looks pretty damned complicated and i would need to improvise for the parts that you need to download from the CD-ROM that game with the publication (is that a word? i mean magazine thing)
This is the link to what im talking about... http://www.desktoppublishing.com/bri...heavymetal.pdf
Ill go and check adobe.com, i assume thats where youre suggesting i head on over to, thanks for the tip. |

you can also get filters that do that for you ... for photoshop get the eyecandy filers and for illustrator get the kai powertools
they are easy to use and the results are awsome. |
