Which do you like best?

Hmm tough choice - the second seems to be optimized for browsing with a Sinclair ZX81

I clicked on your link and i thought the site looked really nice. my only suggestion is to do something MORE with your logo. Maybe add some type of a texture to the lettering. something to make it stand out more.

edwelly, I think that shadow's way too much, and actually takes away from the logo.... not bad though....

Oops, I thought the first one WAS the current one. My vote goes for the current one. The color scheme / layout is very pleasing to the eye and easy to use. No reason to change a good thing.
