8.5x11" trifold brochure: design and prepress: $1,000 and up
Logo: design and artwork: $750 and up
Business cards, letterhead, envelope: design with existing logo: $300-$500
Travel and Meetings, if needed: $50 per hour
Hey thanks---but im looking for something im havin a hard time explaining I guess---she just wants to make casual inkjet flyers for employee information---for little more then the cost of ink, paper and a few minutes of putting it together, although with alittle flair---I guess its a matter of placing clipart around the body of a message on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper---or something?
Far from something ive ever needed to do... |

Hi, TKoP~
Is she using MS Office?
Office (this for Word 2000) comes with built-in templates for brochures, newsletters (or can be installed from the CD) and also she can dl for free other newsletter templates, wizards from MS: http://officeupdate.microsoft.com/templategallery/
They also have clipart (by the carapload lol) that she can choose from. http://dgl.microsoft.com/
hope this helps!
*I guess she doesn't have Publisher, per above?
** oh, and I'm sure she can find tons of free borders and clipart by just using those terms in a google search.

I'm sure there's plenty of free DTP software available for download out there?!
I've been away from the DTP scene for quite a while now, so don't have any of the latest packages....
MS Publisher has already been mentioned, MS Word has some basic templates and borders etc, or you could even try one of the photo/DTP packages (normally free with printers or scanners, so should be easily available?!) |

I do about 1000-5000 pieces of direct mail /flyers a month. Why don't you give me some specific info and I can make her a few templates...
