maybe a flash diashow? which loads every 5 seconds a new pic (perhaps random too)

but out doesnt like flash so (he doesnt like the sound in it )

Actually I like Flash alot. Some of my favorite sites are Flash based. I just don't think it's the proper solution for many of these types of issues. I would also say that MDS' JAVA solution is not the proper one either. My Mozilla doesn't like it for one thing. A lot of people intentionally choose not to have JAVA or Flash installed on their machines, I think that should be repsected.

Does this load to slow as a gif ? I DL flashmx trail and it will take a while to figure it out but I only have 30days to do so.
