I have a set of images me and a friend (tim) took a few years ago of a tornado forming till it finished a set of approx 30 photo's. I would like to put them up on my webspace as a slide show but I'm not for-sure the easiest way to do this. I can make a slide show on my computer and upload it but it would require the viewer to dl a slide show viewer and I don't want to do that. So what would be the easiest way to go about this. Maybe a freeware web slide-show of some kind.

the quick and cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesiest way to do it
Just put up a simple html page for each picture, then put a meta refresh tag on each html page for an alloted period of time to wait for the next pic. Code: <html>
<head>
<title>Picture 1 title for TitleBar of browser</title>
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0; URL=http://yourpage.com/goeshere/stormthatkicksarse02.jpg">
</head>
<body>
<img src=stormthatkicksarse01.jpg>
</body>
</html> something like that
The refresh will redirect you to the 2nd image, and on the next page, have it point to the 3rd page etc.
Or you can buy photopost it has that ability

how does this look, I lhad to lower the image size and compress so maybe it wouldn't be so hard on slow internet connections. LMK how it works |

Very cool
It had a preload so that was nice too, so it loaded up all the images right away and to keep the flow of the images pretty constant
One thought is to put a link so the user can see the full image, some of those shots would be sweet in larger sizes.

Doesn't work in Mozilla. At least not for me.
That meta refresh like vass described would though. |
