Although the 9800pro 128mb has been the best "bang for the buck" card for a long while now, with a very good price..for very good performance, there is a new card comming out on the market which seems to be much better.
Nividia's new 6600GT AGP chip (according to what I have read) beats out the 9800pro, and is more so, in competition with ATI's 9800XT 256MB. Read this on Firingsquad.com http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/...gp/default.asp
Check it out...I believe that seems to be the new "bang for the buck card". http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/...t_agp_roundup/
That is another article from them, about the different cards that are comming out for that Chip...the BFG OC (although a bit more expensive) seems to deliver the best performance out of all of them, since it comes from the factory already OCed a bit. Hope this helps. |
