| ATI Tool is good for overclocking ATI cards. It will tell you how high you can OC it before getting artifacts .
edit
Just found something out. Don't run ATI Tool when you have 2 ATI video cards active. Your computer will instantly crash.

Power Strip is also good. I like it because it has presets, so when I start a specific game it automatically bumps the settings up to increase performance. So when you don't need the performance you aren't taxing your card.

You can make powerstrip oc' your graphics card all the time but it isn't needed. What he is saying is u can set it so that it will automatically oc' your graphics card once you start a certain game or whatever. This is used so you aren't straining your card while you are surfing the net or something. I have tried both ATI tool and Powerstrip and I like Powerstrip better. GL

I have a 9600np. I thought these cards were locked so they couldn't be overclocked.
