I posted something similar to this a while back and I think it may have been on that "other" forum site. But anywhay here are some articles on how to overclock (they say extreme!) your graphics cards. ATI Radeon 8500 Geforce 3 Ti 500, 200 Geforce 2 GTS, MX
hehe enjoy

Wow .. look at that HS's size .. it is almost as a CPU HS ..
I OC my card and i got nice results with default cooling and few small HSes on the RAm chips .. my GF2 Pro go easily to 260 core / 460 memory .. but i run it always at 230/440, just for caution ..
Thanx for the links .. interesting articles mainly for insane OCers
Regards

Those are some nice links indeed, but I gotta wonder.
Am I the only one that sees that that kick @$$ heatsink is not mounted, but just put on top of the card, covering maybe 75% of the core??
That is a funny picture indeed.

Makes me wonder if it fell off the card after the pic was taken. |

I used CoolBits to O/C my GF3 Ti-500 a bit, but I set it back to stock. The screen text resolution went to heck when it was O/C'd..
When you bump the clock speed, the refresh rate goes up too, huh?
Perhaps my monitor didn't like it? |

Pity I need all my PCI cards, otherwise I could give up on one for such a beautiful HS |

while not exactly Hardcore overclocking, it was cool to see the guy got his Geforce2 MX up to 210MHz Memory clock (although i suspect he didnt have 7ns modules, and had 6ns modules). I got my memory clock up to 194MHz, and the core up to 235MHz.
edit: The HSF is a Thermaltake Golden Orb...huh, been there done that...
I'm now using a Taisol CEK733 on my geforce2 mx.
